Today we want to take time out to think about what it means to be a woman, and how powerful it is being one. With that, we think about what women are capable and free to do today in this empowerment and find that it is truly awe inspiring. So we take a moment to highlight what boudoir photographer and CreativeLive instuctor Jen Rozenbaum has to say about being a woman and photographing powerful women:
For me personally, the rise of boudoir photography is women taking their power back. It gives us an opportunity to take the ‘bite’ out of sexualization of the body. Yes it is sexy, but it’s not always about sex. We are allowing ourselves freedom to express who we are on our own terms and not just because a man wants to see us in undies
