Relaxation

We’ve taken good measures to ensure excellent physical health, but mental health is equally important. Wedding planning can be incredibly stressful and take a toll on your mental state. You must make sure you find the time to take care of yourself and relax. Spa treatments and hair and nail appointments all cost money. If you’re willing to spend it, they’re all wonderful ways to treat and spoil yourself to some much needed R&R time. However, if you want to stay away from added expenses, get together with your girlfriends and watch your favorite chick flicks paired with your favorite wine. We personally enjoy Blackstone’s Merlot. Laughing and sharing memories will ease your tension. Something you can do on your own is read a novel. Reading can take you to another place and get your mind off anything that may be stressing you out.

This adds to fortifying your mental health. There is scientific proof that shows that smiling lowers your stress levels, elevates your mood, increases your productivity and attention to details, keeps you looking youthful while promoting greater longevity and boosts your immune system. It is often said that smiling is contagious. Scientifically speaking, about 50 percent of people will return your smile and reap the same benefits as you have. If you’re stressed, it is likely that your bridesmaids, future husband and parents may be as well. By sharing a smile, everyone in your wedding party will be able to reduce stress too. Plus, with your big wedding day coming up, you have a lot to smile about!
