Gidde-Up! Boudoir @thepadrehotel

If you live in Bakersfield, you’re sure to have heard, seen, or been to The Padre Hotel at least once. The hotel is a historical landmark originally built in 1928 by Los Angeles architectural firm John M. Cooper–drawing inspiration from La’s Biltmore Hotel!! It was constructed as a luxury hotel and restaurant, and it was renovated in 2010 to be en even “better” version of the luxury hotel and restaurant it once was–redesigned with the aid of architectural firm Graham Downes and hotelier Eat. Drink. Sleep. * fun fact: when built in the 20s, the bar included swings that hung from the rafters in which beautiful women would swing over guests in.*

If you HAVE been to the hotel, you know the place is floor-to-ceiling INCREDIBLE! With 112 gorgeously designed rooms, multiple bars, a cafe, fine dining restaurants, bistro, and an onsite caterer why not just take up residency there–think Hotel Chelsea.

So why are WE interested in the hotel? Aside from the fact that it’s an artistic gold mine, it’s a fantastic place to shoot boudoir in!! Just look at the rooms:
