Continuation of part one of Fairy Godmother Foundation Wedding in Bakersfield, CA
Monseigneur Craig conducted the ceremony at St Francis Church. It was a beautiful service. Craig has known the Johnson family for many years, and was honored to be a part of their wedding. After the ceremony, we did family photos at the church. The family for the most part stayed present and we finished the photos in about 25 minuets. We dismissed everyone to the venue, and did a few more couples portraits outside the church. We took the limousine to the Westchester Venue where the details were aplenty.
They had two photo booths, pipe and draped head table with a lot of beautiful floral arrangements, uplighting, a slide show of growing up and engagement photos playing on the venue televisions, huge vintage wood doors and flowers casing the cake table, a cigar bar, monogram, and even an ice sculpture! Horderves were being passed out by NV Catering, and it was time for the grand entrance. Freestyle Entertainment brought the bridal party and couple in with style! A small group bridal party dance ensued, and then it was dinner time! Several meal choices were available, with some great drink options and an open bar.
The wedding couple shared their first dance. Rachel danced with her father, and then Rob with his mother. His two brothers also joined him dancing with Mom. It was a touching shared moment between the family. There were several dance battles between the kids and adults as DJ Mike switched music between popular songs. He included the throw backs for the adults to show the kids a thing or two. There were several people that toasted to the bride and groom, including parents, siblings, and children.
Congratulations to Robert and Rachel Mendoza! You had many photographers to choose from, we are honored that you chose us to be part of your special day! We wish you many years of happiness together in your marriage.
